Maybe I am weird, over sensitive or over protected. Maybe I just don't get it because I am a single mom.
I just can't imagine leaving my baby girl for a weekend because I need a break. You can't take a break from being a mom, it just does not work that way.
I wouldn't be able to eat, sleep or think. All I would do is think of my baby!! How do you just drop them of, while you go have a fun time, if that is even possible.
Imagine how scared and confused a baby must be. How he or she misses their mommy. You are always there and then you are just gone. How can you expect them to understand that?
And then you place the responsibility of a lonely, scared baby on some one else. Your baby will most probably be crying for you. It breaks my heart.
Screw it if the man in your life needs attention, what happened to for better or worse? Your baby will only be small for a few years, doesn't marriage last forever?
What is actually worst is a man expecting that from a woman, from a mother!!! How selfish can you be? Romantic weekend away my ass!! You are still leaving our baby.

ReplyDeleteWhy on earth have a baby if you don't want to take the FULL responsibility of the baby? God gave them to us, to nourish and to love, to protect. And this goes for Mommy AND Daddy!!
