My mom has been a La Leche League leader for over 25 years. She breastfed all four her daughters and tandem nursed twice. I was almost five years old when I stopped breastfeeding. I know that seems crazy!
While I was pregnant I never really thought about breast or bottle. Of course I wold breastfeed that is how God made us!
It is so funny, just the other day my mom said that of all four her daughters I , she thought I would be the one to bottle feed.
I grew up around breastfeeding mothers, I didn't really know anything else! Besides why would you wnt to shove a plastic gross thing in your baby's mouth, when you cab give her a nice, warm and soft boobie to drink from.
Breastfeeding is my passion, and I would take on any one about the benefits and bond.
At first it was really hard, and it hurt like hell. I bled and cried! She was on the breast 24/7 and that was a very emotional time for me.
Even so I would never give up breastfeeding !
It is so special, and something only I can do for her! There are still days that it doesn't really work for me. But I still don't want a cow to raise me a healthy baby.
I will definitively be saying allot more about breastfeeding in posts to come!!!!!
