Attachment parenting vs Mainstream parenting

In my opinion your parenting style comes to life when yo are pregnant.

There are thousands of woman who's babies are fine, even though they smoked through pregnancy, BUT I CHOSE NOT TO!

There are thousands of woman who's babies are fine, even though they didn't maintain a healthy lifestyle while they were pregnant, BUT I  CHOSE NOT TO!

There are thousands of woman who choose to get a cesarean who's babies are fine, BUT I CHOSE NOT TO!

And WHY did I make these specific choices  .... BECAUSE I LISTEN TO MY BABY!  And that is what attachment parenting is about.

BABY'S NEEDS BEFORE MOTHER'S WANTS!!

I do get that there are woman who need a cesarean due to medical reasons, but when it happens left right and centre for no reason it starts to boggle my mind!
How degrading for a woman to listen to a doctor telling her she can't give birth naturally, that she is too small, or that there will be other complications. From my point of view, if you can carry a baby you can birth a baby.


But these days it is more comfortable for mommy to book a cesarean, we don't have time to wait for our babies.  I mean who do these little things thinks they are? Baby comes at my time, the way I want it .... ME ME ME


Meanwhile baby is begging for a few more weeks closely attached to mommy.  Who is listening to him/her while mommy is planning things her way.


God made us to birth our children.  I wish we could go back to a time where woman trusted their bodies.  When they listened to their hearts and not a doctor who is being paid per hour!!


Yes it is painful, but the pain passes and you don't even remember it!! Imagen having a new born baby who needs you, while you are still a patient recovering from a cesarean.

In todays live every one wants to control everything! why not just let things be?  What does it matter what the sex of your baby is? What does is matterthat you don't know what day he is gonna come?  Non of that matters cause that is the way God made us.  If this is what He wanted there would be a sign on your belly saying its a boy or its a little princess. If this is what He had in mind, woman would b born with a knife, to cut baby out herself.


Some may say I'm judgemental, but I speak for those who have no voice!

I am so tired and sick of hearing woman say "I didn't have enough milk, I had to stop breastfeeding"
Studies have shown that only about 3% of woman can't breastfeed, so either you are lying or you didn't try hard enough!


Back to ME, and what I want! I am going to sleeptrain baby so that I can decide when yo are tired.  I trn up the radio volume, and try not to focus on you crying yourself to sleep.   How wold you feel, if no one wants to comfort you when you are crying!!


A child can emotionally detach himself from his mother.


We are supposed to be their comfort and safety!  You need to hold your baby as much as possible! Who cares if you spoil your child with love?  It is your duty as mother!!
